About
I believe cinema is a mirror to society, and society, in turn, absorbs the silver screen.
After eight years in content marketing, I moved to cinema. That background helps me understand narratives, attention, and the algorithm. It shapes how I see what gets amplified, what gets simplified, and what stays. I work on film analysis that looks beyond the obvious. I sit in theatres and try to understand not just what a film says, but why it says it, who it serves, and what it reflects about the world around it. I regularly write for Free Press Journal and Millennium Post.
My training at FTII and my experience in theatre continue to inform how I engage with cinema.
I also believe that the experience of cinema belongs to everyone. That is what led me to build The Second Seat. It is a space for conversations not just with people who make cinema, but with anyone who engages with it.
Through both my writing and The Second Seat, I am less interested in box office narratives and more interested in understanding cinema as something that moves beyond three hours and becomes part of how we see and live.
